Tidenham Parish Council has now installed a community bleed kit, generously provided by the Forest of Dean Community Safety Partnership.
This bleed kit, from HeartSafe, is designed to deliver immediate, life-saving support in the event of a traumatic injury by helping to control severe bleeding until emergency services arrive.
By placing bleed kits in key public areas, the aim is to empower local communities with the tools and confidence to respond effectively in critical situations. This District Council initiative supports emergency preparedness and enhances public safety across the district.
The bleed kit has been installed next to the Parish Council defibrillator on the railings by the Day Lewis Chemist in Sedbury.
